Game overview
” Dustborn ” is a single-player action-adventure game where you experience a vivid and dangerous road trip with the main character, Pax, and a group of quirky friends. Pax and her friends embark on a journey to transport an important cargo from Pacifica to Nova Scotia. Along the way, Pax and his friends pretend to be a punk rock band, and at times are forced to actually perform as a punk band…Pax and his friends explore the spectacular landscape of near-future America, visiting various places along the way, and gathering with friends. Collect them, build bonds, and fight your enemies.

The main character, Pax, has the ability to embody the word VOX. Her Vox is imbued with a mysterious power, like the spirit of words. Pax uses the power of her words to overcome dangerous situations and influence those around her. Building relationships with her friends is key on her dangerous road trip. Furthermore, each member has a sharp individuality, and making good use of that individuality may be the key to victory.

Dustborn is based on my experience creating games with strong narrative elements such asDraugen and Dreamfall Chapters, and uses this background to challenge the action/ adventure genre . Most importantly, it focuses on the humanity of the characters and the power of words.We deeply understand the members who share the road trip, build relationships, and learn how our words affect the world around us.
